No set budget necessarily, but I generally am not interested in the top of the line stuff, I generally just look for the highest price/performance, including buying any items used if I need to or from older gen platforms.

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes? I am looking for a build that will do the best at 1440P/144hz gaming.

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using. I generally upgrade every 5-7 years, so I'm just looking to get parts that will still be usable in the future (for reference, this was my exact thought process when building my current PC).
